Once every 6 weeks we bring lunch to share and test out the newly made loaves and plan the rota – of making starter, mixing the dough & baking for the next 6 weeks. We often share recipes and have a veritable feast
We had a brilliant walk together as part of the bread circle, choosing something gentle as a trial though it turned out longer than we thought – 11.8 miles. But we all managed and enjoyed it a lot. From Little Roodee to Eccleston and then on to the iron bridge and back along the river to have dinner in The Architect.
Next one in a month will be to Hilbre – much gentler but seals to see…..
